OK, now - I recently noticed that most of the elevators for example on the 6th floor, and if lift is not in use - after 30 seconds it goes on the 1st floor. In other building there are 2 lifts. There are 4 floors. and when not in use - 1 lift goes on the Level 1 and the other goes on Level G (ground floor)? Also mostly all lifts say the floor and going up or going down. Crock pot help- why is my roast dry?!?

The last few times I have made pot roast in my slow cooker it's been terribly dry. I am getting about a 2 lb chuck roast everytime, cooking on low for about 6 hours. adding potatoes/onions/carrots/seasonings and 1/2 cup water. the recipe tastes very good i've made it before, it's just the meat's lack of tenderness that's making it harder to enjoy. any ideas? am I cooking it too long or is my roast too small?

First of all, you are normal, many people aren't very good at certain sports, and feel left out with their group of friends. Try talking to them, explain that you feel left out, maybe find some one on one time with each of them. You can always branch out and go hang out with some other people at that time. I know it's sounds hard and scary to just find new friends, but i'm not saying to forget about the old. Just have other options when you feel left out. I had a close group of about 6 friends one year, and when i felt left out i went to meet some new people to hang out with for awhile, now i have a group of over 40 friends and we are all close.

People whether we acknowledge it or not, automatically judge someone based on what we see, hear, and previous knowledge. Granted people with open-minds tend to ignore it, it still goes on. Personally, I don't use speech to ess intelligence. However, it does make a difference. For example, I have no problem swearing or using slang around my peers or friends, but wouldn't dare in a formal situation. They each have pros and cons; neither is better or worse than the other. The major difference would be that in jiu-jitsu, much of the emphasis is on flexibility and agility; Muay Thai is a about pure brute force, getting as much strength behind a fist, knee, or elbow as possible. Both are great for getting fit and losing weight and would help you to hold your own in a fight. However, if you feel like you want to focus more on increasing agility and whatnot, jiu-jitsu would trump it; if you want to build muscles faster, Muay Thai would be better. Have fun!

I am captured by your "prologue" but wonder why you have chose to call it "prologue?" To me it seems to be the meat of your real story... I think if you could figure out a way to bring your two story themes together (teen runaway after abuse by mother's boyfriend) you have a really solid story idea. Also I think you are trying to put too much information into your story line (your thoughts about "I don't know why my mom picks such losers..." as an example). Sometimes too much "thought" information can be distracting to the reader. Also, try to stay away from trite phrases ("pot to piss in"). Just some initial impressions here... find yourself a "peer editing" group to work with and keep at it!

Can I machine wash my dry clean only quilt?

I have gathered data about each chemical, and I have preformed three experiments, in which I change the concentration of each the peroxide, acid and potium iodide. I would say that you do have a chance but honestly you look like a lot of other smart kids, i'm a sopre too, about the same gpa, same number of ap's, and all honors cles other than that, I play 3 sports and am in a lot of clubs. I would say that you are on the right track but you need to work really hard to stand out, and also maybe you could join some more clubs to try to get the the leadership position, that is a pretty big thing. Currently you are probably about 50-50 because with a school like the ivy's you can never be sure. A good thing to do would be to get very good at something that is not academic because schools say they want well rounded students but in all honesty what they really want is a well rounded cl so not all just smart people, although you have to be smart they also want smart/ jock or smart/ band kid or smart/ theater kid. So try to get good at something like those. One more suggestion of mine is if you are going to go to med school you probably shouldn't do pre med and med school at yale. It would be better if you were to go to yale for pre med and harvard for med school or if you don't get into yale then go to yale for med school but some other good college for pre med.

He acts like hes just kidding and puts a sarcastic tone in his voice,but really I think he really means it deep down. He decided he was going to make me "cry" today and proceeded to mess with me a majority of the morning,before opening,until I had it and he officially put me in a bad mood. I snapped,gave him an attitude and he backed off,I guesss. I did my best to ignore it and laugh it off. If I did laugh and try to keep a smile on my face he'd say something like "what the fuhk are you laughing at?!" regardless, this is my manager. I'm a server,I work in a restaurant and if you've ever worked in a restaurant you'd understand you can get away with a lot of horse play and bad language. Later on that day, I got written up. The first table of the day got sat. I went and greeted them and this man told me he cant even tell me what he wants to drink because the music is so loud he cant even think. I said, I'll get my manager to turn it down for you. Walked away, and told my manager...whose been messing with me all morning...table 35 wants the music louder! as a joke,of course. sense we seem to be just joking this fine morning. I tell him later, like 30 seconds "later" they want the music turned down and its too loud for him. I was joking. He didnt find it funny. He calls for a shift meeting and doesnt bother to turn the music down. one minute later,during the meeting the tables walks out. this was all within two minutes. this table didn't even give us a chance to turn it down. they got up,yelled at the hostess and left. I was written up and now im a little weary I may loss my job,over something so silly. I dont know what to tell my general manager besides it was a joke gone bad and a few very cranky people who came to dine at the fine establishment, Applebees. I just dont understand why my manager can screw with his employees all day and nothing comes of it and then someone does it back and now im about to lose my job. I've been there for a year. I work very very hard. I've called out three times in the past 450 days i've been there. I told him, if you write me up I'll most likely lose my job here. He told me "I hope you do". Well i've been feeling really down lately. The reason is i think about me just never being with girls. I mean i'm 15 years old and i've never dated a single girl.
