Does greater complexity in the Universe make God more or less likely to exist?

the Intelligent Design/creationism folks always point out how incredibly complex the Universe is, and explain that this means it requires a creator to design it, but I see it the other way around, if the Universe is more complex, than the creator required to make it must be more complex, making it less likely that such a superbeing could exist by chance.
