How did you get your child(ren) off of pacifiers?

ok this is going to sound stupid but it works. tell the child the pacifier fairy needs them for other babies and have the child collect them all and put them in a bag and the fairy will leave her a present for them. take them away that night and leave her a doll or dollar or whatever.
