Save songs on deskpot from itunesss?

k soo i have a ipod and i want to delted thosee song but first i want to save them i did the file-library-import playlist and that makes a folder i go and click on itt and it takes me to a website and it apperas weird letters i cant copy and paste neither plsss help i wnat to put this song on my new ipod pls and thks bets answer gets 10 points!!??
