Girls: If a guy is straightforward with a girl does that mean the guy is not a challenege?

If a guy randomly approached you and took the honest approach would that mean that guy is not a challenge? If the guy confidently approached you and during the conversation told you that he thought you were gorgeous and he wanted to meet you would you think that the guy is no longer a challenge because he already has told you what he thinks of you? Also, would you feel creeped out about the fact that he told you that he thought you were gorgeous and he wanted to meet you, even though you were both engaging in friendly conversation? Or would you prefer the honest approach rather than beating around the bush?
